CD/DVD Guidelines

Safety Margins: Text and important images must fall within the red boxes. Extending important elements beyond these lines can cause problems during cutting, folding and assembly. Parts of images on the text can end up being trimmed off or fall directly on a fold.

Cut Lines: This is approximately where your artwork will be trimmed. Keeping all text and important images inside the 1/8th inch safety margins will prevent their unintended loss during cutting.

Bleeds: This arrea is going to be completely trimmed away during the cutting process. Only solid colors, background images or foreground images that intentionally run off the page should extend through this area. Harving Bleeds ensures that your artwork will not have a thin white border around it.

Folds: Be very careful when running any text or important image over folds. Text, especially text under 9 pt can be hard to read if it is falling or a fold.

I love my brother.

Free write: Friendship

I think about friendship is that I can communicate with people that I have met. I think having friends is grateful because I can tell them everything and if I have a problem I would tell them. I wouldn't tell them every thing because some things may be personal. I like having friend because you can be around people that makes you feel comfortable. I think having friends is a good thing because some people are lonely and that person might have no one to talk too. My friends I hang around are people like Richan Goodman, Lasheda Brooks and Kaleia Wingfield. Their are many other friend I hang out with but these people are the loyal one, the one I would normally trust. I think many people don't usually have friend because some just worry about doing there work because hey know it's usually school their parents worry about a lot. Friendship to me is good because people can express their real personality and be their own self instead of following after one another. But some people do that.

I think having friend is important to me because we can talk on the phone, chat on the computer, email each other or even go some where and just chill and hang out. Many friends are very personal meaning that he/she picks the people they hang around because some people might not be your friend because they might think you look bad or don't do well in school as if that person is not popular in school. That's what I think about friendship.

Free Write: Snow Day 1/28/09

Yesterday, I did a lot of things like help my brother clean the living room so my mom won't have to clean. I also got on the computer and chatted with my friend Shakira Ray. Yesterday I went to gymnastics practice and brought my MP3 Speaker System that my teacher gave me for a gift and we played music during my practice at the Youth Center. I had to work on my handstands and then I then i had as much free time as I wanted like going to the arcade, get on the computers, or just chill the classroom and do different flips and stuff.
